Although Neo Energy Group is one of the leaders in the renewable energy market in Poland, we also actively invest in gas-fired power plant projects – stable, flexible generation units that support the balancing and transformation of the energy system.
Gas as a pillar of flexibility and energy security
We believe that gas fuels – alongside renewable energy sources – play a key role in ensuring continuity of supply, grid stability, and the provision of system services. An example of this approach is the 163.8 MW emergency power plant in Turku, developed by Neo Hybrid Power. The project has an environmental decision, a connection agreement with PSE, and secured land, making it one of the most advanced projects of its kind in the country.
