Pumped storage power plants
We implement pumped storage power plant projects as comprehensive infrastructure investments, responding to the growing needs for flexibility and stability of the national energy system. We handle the entire process – from feasibility studies, through design and obtaining permits, to project implementation and integration with the grid.
There are currently only six large pumped-storage power plants operating in the Polish energy system, with a total capacity not exceeding 2 GW.
This is not much, considering the dynamic development of renewable energy sources and the urgent need to ensure the flexibility and stability of the National Power System (KSE).
Neo Energy Group, in order to meet these challenges, is developing a project to build a modern pumped storage power plant (ESP) in Tolkmicko – one of the largest energy storage facilities of this type planned in Central and Eastern Europe.
By using green energy, we reduce our carbon footprint, becoming credible in the eyes of our customers and partners.
Projects
We provide comprehensive implementation of pumped storage power plant projects – from the planning and technical analysis stage, through design and construction, to operational support and servicing. Each investment is tailored to local terrain and hydrological conditions, which allows for maximizing efficiency and reliability of operation in the energy system.
