Kazimierz Biskupi PV power plant

Neo Solar Energy is currently developing 180 MW DC Solar Farm – one of the largest photovoltaic power plant in Poland and Central Europe

Project key highlights

The Kazimierz Biskupi is PV farm project with a capacity approximately 180 MW DC, to be build on 210 hectares of already secured land. The land has been reclaimed from an open-pit coal mine. The PV farm will be located in the Kazimierz Biskupi commune located in Konin County, in west-central Poland.

The Project is a currently in a late stage of development, it is planned to reach the Ready to Build (RTB) phase before the 2020 RES auction.

NEG has secured the zoning plan for the project, the lease agreements signed for 29 years, and geotechnical studies made. The environmental decision for first 50 MW is secured, application for 150 MW has been submitted. The building project has been already commissioned.

In order to reach the RTB stage Neo Energy Group (NEG) needs to get the connection conditions and agreement and get the building permit.

The developer had prepared necessary documentation for submitting the application for EU subsidies available for project within the Coal Regions in Transition Platform at the European Commission
